This antiseptic sudsing skin cleanser is a germicidal cleanser used for preoperative and postoperative scrubbing and washing. Ideal for preparation of the skin prior to surgery and helping to reduce bacteria that can potentially cause skin infections. Betadine is for us on companion animals, including dogs, cats and horses and not for use on food producing animals. Contains 7.5% povidone-iodine equal to 0.75% available iodine.
